Abstract
New aromatic poly (amide-imide) with enhanced thermal stability and high inherentviscositywere synthesized from a bis(4-amino-3,5-dimethylphenyl)4'-flurophenyl methane. The tetrimide dicarboxylic acid was readily obtained by the condensation reaction of p-phenylenediamine, pyromellitic dianhydride and p-aminobenzoic acid. Polymerwas prepared by direct polycondensation reaction of tetrimide diacid and bis(4-amino-3,5-dimethylphenyl)4'-flurophenyl methane using triphenyl phosphite in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP)/pyridine solution containing dissolved CaCl2. The newly synthesized monomer and poly (imide-amide) were characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR spectroscopy and the properties of the polymer including solubility, crystallinity, and thermal behavior were also studied. The obtained poly (amide-imide) showed high thermo stability. The polymer was easily soluble in organic solvents such as DMSO, DMF, DMAc, NMP and m-cresol.

Abstract
Adult Education aims at extending educational options to those adults, who have lost the opportunity and have crossed the age of formal education, but now feel a need for learning of any type, including literacy, basic education, skill development (Vocational Education) and equivalency. With the objective of promoting adult education, a series of programmes have been introduced since the First Five Year Plan, the most prominent being the National Literacy Mission (NLM), that was launched in 1988 to impart functional literacy to non-literates in the age group of 15-35 years in a time bound manner. By the end of the 10th Plan period, NLM had made 127.45 million persons literate, of which, 60% were females, 23% belonged to Scheduled Castes (SCs) and 12% to Scheduled Tribes (STs). 597 districts were covered under Total Literacy Campaigns of which 502 reached Post Literacy stage and 328 reached Continuing Education stage. This is an attempt for identifying the present status of adult education. The investigator is conducting the research to give a new vision to the entire adult education activities with a wider perspective.

Abstract
The advertising world considers women merely as a object to sell their commodity. They utilize the body, physical beauty and the personality of women. The advertising world has become professional with the advent of globalization. The dignity and social status of women are not considered in the advertisement world. Some of the women who come to act in the advertisement even face molestation and sexual harassment. The victim has no liberty and must act as per the direction of the ad director. Impact of Globalized Women Rights
Sheeba Kumari, Assistant Professor
Department of History, S. T. Hindu College, Nagercoil
Abstract
The development of a country depends upon the fuller and utilization of its valuable natural and human resources. The most effective means of sustained human development is growth accompanied by an equitable distribution of income, which can be achieved through fuller utilization of a country’s human resources. Women at the global level constitute half of the world population and one-third of labor force. But they earn only one-tenth of the world income. They occupied several positions as politicians, legal experts, executives, nutritionists, medical technologies and they played vital role in the field of education trade, business, commerce, politics, social work and justice. The role and status of women have been undergoing a continuous change in recent times. The place of women in rural economy is largely determined by the overall socio- economic, cultural situations and it is true especially in developing countries. As the result of globalization the Indian Government made change in our constitution to provide reservation in panchayats elections and also gave reservation to women in the state and central Government elections.
